The Witch and the Hundred Knight on Switch?

Postby GuardianJohnITA » Sat Jun 17, 2017 4:05 pm

To all lovers of Nippon Ichi Software games, I've an interesting idea that you might want to hear.
Many of us surely love the dark and awesome Metallia, the Swamp Witch, and how well she was received during the release of her game but unfortunately her was only released only for PS3 and the Revival Edition on PS4; with the arrival of the Nintendo Switch, NISA was interested on it and decided to support it with games.....and they were right; Disgaea 5 Complete have found a new suitable home on the Switch and it was well received by the fans and I doubt that the company have the intention of giving up now; NISA promised us to release more games on the Switch, so I thought: They will add The Witch and the Hundred Knight as well on the new console?

I thought about it and there are good things that could give the chance for the game to come to Nintendo:
-We already met Metallia on the Switch as a DLC character on the complete version of Disgaea 5 and she is one of the most powerful characters of the game
-The game was well praised by the fans and the critics and the Revival Edition fixed all the bugs that encountered on its first release on the PS3
-The level of graphics is really good on the Revival Edition but I'm sure that the graphic card of the Nintendo Switch is more strong enough to handle the game's graphics.
-It won't be hard to adapt the controls to the Switch console since NISA already ported Disgaea 5, that it was originally a PS4 game.
-It will be the first Action RPG game to come into the Nintendo Switch and that's an opportunity that NISA can't slip away.
-The Switch proved to be what Nintendo promised: the first hybrid console; we can play the game anytime and anywhere!

And you? Do you think it as well? Feel free to watch and leave a comment if you want.....and I'm talking even to you NISA :)......give us this awesome game on the Nintendo Switch.

This would be very cool... but very unlikely, I think.

Why you say so? That would be a great idea and a great chance for NISA.....the better candidate for this it might be the Revival Edition, specially because solved many problems from the first one on the PS3 and the so-called ''sequel'' wasn't well received like the original.
This discussion is not just about to convince NISA to port this game to the Switch but also about to add a new game inside the family of the new console (which is still short and a lot of waiting for new titles to be released)....
I just hope NISA see this idea and think about it :)

I would much rather see new games on the Switch, buying the same game again to show interest gets old pretty fast.

Still hoping to see the sequel translated.

I wouldn't count on it, the sequel wasn't well received on Japan like the original one and if a game doesn't pass on Japan, it's almost zero chances to come on other countries (perhaps because too many, including me, love too much the character of Metallia and no references to the other characters of the first game was kinda disappointing)
Besides it would be a chance for others who don't have the PS4 or PS3 to buy this awesome game....and the Switch is really admired all across the globe!
