Sounds to me like Zeke just needs to learn how to manage his money.

He's basically crying because he doesn't know how to save money, so he wants to be able to pay as soon as he gets the funds... otherwise he'll blow it on something else.

And honestly, if it's that hard for you to set aside $50 then you probably shouldn't be buying video games in the first place. But hey, who am I to judge? :P

Hm. Should've put more thought into it.

I really want Pre-Ordering something to be treated as a "Commitment". Treat every purchase with the same amount of thought you'd have if you were buying a tattoo.

There's already a thing for that, it's called pre-purchasing. Pre-ordering is just reserving a copy.
When the standard for such things is cancellable pre-orders and there is actually another term for the more solid commitment of paying straight away you'd think that anything that said 'pre-order' would behave the same way, as you have no reason to think otherwise.

Like the way Shopto.net does Pre-order.

When you pre-order the game are it only add to your list of order (Kinda like NISA) and you can ad anytime cancel it.
Then it's up to you, when you want to pay the full among of cash (ofc need to happen before release)

You'll never know until you try.

In certain states it is illegal for companies to charge your credit card before shipping a product (such as Iowa where Rightstuf is located). Per the Fair Credit Billing Act a company can pre-charge, but it does make it a criminal act to not ship with a given delivery date, aka if NISA states a game will come out on July 6th and pre-charges your account, if it ships on July 7th they would be breaking the law and charges might be brought against them.

Moral of the story, pre-charging for a purchase is a legal hellhole for US based companies and few bother to do it.
