For the former, like I said, Toradora might be a good start. There's an established fanbase for it around here already since NISA released the anime in the west, but I have no idea how the licensing would work. Seven Seas has rights to the manga, and as far as we know, they've ceased publication of LNs, so I doubt they have rights to the novels. Only thing with Toradora is that it's a full 10 novels to be released. I don't think of NISA as a company to stop halfway through something, so maybe 10 is too much for a first attempt.
