The only thing that I hope for is getting into land of carnage easier. I don't want them to change things to much.

Yeah I'm really hoping for a much faster gameplay experience, if they can provide the DD2 style of gameplay then I'm completely happy either way. I've spent 3 times more time in D4 and none of the characters in the game are as powerful as any one of my DD2 characters.

Well assuming that D4 Returns has the DD2 gameplay, it should give us the satisfaction that the LoC will definitely be an option in the Cheat Shop.

I felt like DD2 made things a bit to easy. I appreciate making it easier to adjust enemy levels and making LoC easier to access but everything else just felt too easy.

If D4R gives mounting over Magichange I won't buy it.

No it's still just the magichange.

That would ruin the whole fusing with giant monsters thing Seitz was so excited about in the PS3 version pvs.

It's still magichange thankfully. Mounting could have been so good. They did so many things right with it and it was completely ruined when I realized there was only one mounting skill per monster and 90% of the mounting skills only hit one enemy. But even if it was done right aesthetically I would have liked it as much. There's something about using a monster as a weapon that I just like so much more than the idea of riding one.

The Vita port of this REALLY needs the Puppy Paw Stick.

If the Vita port had the PPS, Rutile and Stella(from Disgaea 4 Vita save data this time), a Xenolith prologue mode, and a Defenders of Earth mode, then the port would be perfect.

I imagine Rutile and Stella would still be D3 data whereas you could get Nagi from D4 data.

To be perfect, in addition to Defenders of the Earth, it's gotta have Prism Rangers. How that isn't mandatory for all post-D4 games baffles me.

If there was a defenders of earth mode and a prism rangers mode in the port I would buy a used copy of the game.

From what I understand, dood didn't enjoy DD2 so it's not really surprising to me that'd he'd buy it only if it's at a low price. It implies that he'd buy if it had those two modes.

But hey, what do I know?

Ah, I gotcha.

Well, I didn't get D2 at all, so I'd go for a port regardless.

I enjoyed the gameplay of DD2 but not enough to pay full price again.
