I don't think the medium is as much of a big deal as you're thinking. It's still too early to do DD only, but people are changing. And your whole 'memstick' idea sounds really dumb to someone like myself, but if that's how it goes, then I'll deal with it. I may end up liking it, but carrying around things like flash drives to hold a game on them seems rather strange. We'll just have to see what Sony pulls when they finally reveal some concrete information, and we aren't just getting a bunch of supposed leaks...

Without it, it would crash and burn like nothing ever has because they wouldnt be stocked at gamestops,walmarts, ect......a place were games are also sold along side

oh, I knew you didn't generate the idea, but you're the one who first informed me about it. Sorry for the misleading words.

I know they need some kind of physical presence at retailers, and people aren't yet ready to buy a game case to get a code, and not a physical game, but one day that will probably be how it goes.

As much as I love my PSP, im really not all that excited for the PSP2. If its reverse compatible, I will probably get one someday, byt the only hanheld I have my eyes on right now is the 3DS. Oh I cant wait till March!

I bougt a ds day 1, and a psp 3 years later

Yea, Ive only had my PSP for around 2 years, it still has so much life in it! But yea I'll Deffinantly get the 3DS on day 1. Probably wait awhile on the PSP2.

the psp imports alone are getting retardly awesome. The ds has super robot wars L this month....that was enough awesomeness (I am a sucker for new jrpgs)


If it has a good physical medium (memory sticks) and is priced reasonably I might get it within that first year


But if sony is retarded and things they dont need stores to sell systems or games I might pass till its under 200 dollars.

I would love to have Disgaea 3 on the go.[/quote]you know what? i dont think we need more power,specially on a handheld...since if said handheld is really powerfull it may also mean "yold's" and short battery lifespan galore.no, in my humble opinion what sony needs its a machine with alots of apps, cool browser and a good networking....

they can leave the ps3 graphics to the actual ps3....

I doubt it's truly THAT powerful. Just as much hype was garnered around the 3DS, and it's DEFINITELY not PS3 level of graphics.

And I'm not sure that I would want my PSP to do all those things you said, since my phone can do all that already. As well as many other people's phones.
