How did you get the "A Star is Born" trophy? I tried looking at Japanese guides, and they said something about throwing a cat into a fireplace, but no matter how hard I try, I can't find anything like that. It's the only non-Time Attack trophy I have left.

Spoiler:
In Library 4, you'll find a fireplace all the way to the right of the room with the two paintings. Right above the fireplace is a passage way that the Giant can throw Rose into. Follow it to the end to find the cat. The rest should be simple enough.

#40 - Full Throttle Remastered

I wish my 40th could've been a harder-to-achieve platinum, but these point-and-clicks are super fun regardless!

Been going through my backlog and decided to finish off some games. Another cycle comes to a close. Click here for what I mean.

Platinum #13 - Time and Eternity

Image

Everything I said back then when I beat the JP Version still stands, I enjoyed this game a lot. Playing it again was a lot of fun. I'm still sad it got so much undeserved negativity.
Now Playing: Princess Evangile W Happiness (PC), D.S. -Dal Segno- (PC),
Omega Quintet (PS4), Senran Kagura Estival Versus (PS4)

I wouldn't call the negativity undeserved. If the biggest draw to your game is the hand-drawn sprites, you really do not have a lot going for you. This is especially so when your game plays on a 3D axis and so it generally controls like arse. The animations also looks pretty crap; I'd call it CD-i level if the animators cared about elasticity or expressiveness to at least any of the same degree. We can at least take comfort in that it at least doesn't look hideous; just subpar and boring. Much like the gameplay and story and characters, actually.

This is, of course, just my opinion. We all have things that invigorate us, give us joy, and give us the spring in our step to keep going. However, to call such negativity "undeserved" brings to mind an emu sticking its head in the sand. It's important to keep an open mind; the things we enjoy are not flawless. That doesn't necessarily make them bad; individual parts do not represent the whole in its entirety.

And now to completely undermine the previous point...

Another game done. I'll enjoy seeing my backlog getting smaller.

Platinum #14 - Fairy Fencer F

Image

I wasn't even going for the plat, but since I usually try to get all my characters to the highest possible level, I got the last two trophies in the process of doing so.

Overall I enjoyed the game, it's basically a slightly better version of the Neptunia games that came out before it (except the first one).

Final Score: 82%

If I get a PS4, I might give the remake a try.

And yet another one off my list.

Platinum #15 - Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory

I actually forgot that I had this game sitting on my shelf (sealed) for almost 4 years now. Not much to say about this entry in the series, as I beat the JP version almost 5 years ago. Better than mk2 for sure and that's it, I had a good time though.

I find it funny that the game froze on me 4 times, while trying to load my save data from the title screen.

Final Score: 81%

Blink_Winkel wrote:I just finished the remake, it's definitely worth replaying. They made many improvements, added brand new storylines, a new playable character, battle system is more fun since we can use 6 characters instead of 3... epic game! :D

I'll keep that in mind when I get it. Other PS4 games have a higher priority for me though.
