I've calmed down now and I'm glad to see that Atlus saw the backlash. Hopefully other companies have, too. So while I might not buy the game *now* (there are other games I wanna get), I will eventually.

If there had been no resistance, then I could have seen other companies following suit easily, but people lashed out, so I think things will be fine probably.

Most likely, especially since Atlus isn't usually the one that companies look at to follow, or else we'd have about 50 different Catherine knock-offs by now

I'm beginning to think Atlus only decided to make it dual-audio just as an excuse to region lock it. And what the heck is the point of dual text? If the game is as story heavy as they say, then why in the world would they include dual-text, if not just as an excuse to lock the thing?

Nisa and Aksys, and to a lesser extent Xseed don't treat me this way. What makes you think I'd take this from you, Atlus?

Damn shame too, cause I love me some Arc System Works games.

Insofar as a simultaneous worldwide release, in order to gain cooperation from other involved companies, it was "necessary."

The boycott won't be enough because 9/10 people will give in and buy it anyway.

I love Persona, but it will be easy for me to boycott it because I just have to remind myself of how many games are in my backlog

artemis, you don't really expect people to actually boycott it, do you? Most of those people are all talk, chances are that they will buy it brand new anyways, and enjoy it, coming on forums to complain about how Atlus is stupid, and that they will continue their boycott >.>
