If you liked BBS's gameplay, get it. It makes BBS's system even better. The story is bad and it's veeeery short though.

yo smartass...

Reports this week indicate that English voice-recording sessions for Kingdom Hearts 3D are well underway, with some of the cast already having wrapped up their work on the game. KHInsider report that Vincent Corazza, who reprises his role as Zexion in the game, is done with recording.

This implies numerous cast members are finished. Also, voice recording is finished very quickly, matter of days (if that) to finish a single character.

Okay I just looked and Amazon has it for about $15. I should be able to buy it soon.

I can see the AR cards being pre-order bonuses here.

AR Cards are Nintendo's dumbest idea ever. Especially as special bonuses, unless they are tied to each individual game copy... which they aren't. Seriously, someone can easily snap a crappy phone pic, and it will work on any 3DS.

I guess that's good for games like Dream Drop Distance, where the more powerful and worth while dream eaters will be bonuses of some sort. But still, bad idea business wise, especially if people think the same as me in that respect. xD

Wouldn't be surprised if my limited edition dream eater AR card will work on my English copy.
/implying I still plan to get that 3DS

Ironically, my parents said the Japanese KH: DDD's KINGDOM HEARTS Edition 3DS can be a five month early birthday gift. Very, very, oh so very tempting offer, I won't lie.

Still I want that KH Anniversary Box stateside. Make it a Gamestop exclusive or SE Store exclusive; not to SE members, I just want it for the damn box.. that thing is nice and it's HUGE.

Days and ReCoded can rot; even though I don't have an English copy of ReCoded... which I need... so scratch that!.

Ah yeah, just remember, Jesse David Corti; Neku Sakuraba, finished recording his lines a few weeks back. From the latest Jump article, Neku appears throughout the game; Traverse Town is shown a lot throughout the game, so it would make sense that they are CLOSE if not already DONE with voice recording.

Which... is the last step SE ever takes with their games. ReCoded's release was only 2 months apart, BbS' release gap was because of Wayne Alwine's death, that much should be obvious. So DDD's beign close to, if not already done, is more than likely.

I am assuming they are waiting till after the Japanese release for a date.
I am betting on late April.

It seems that this will release in Europe on July 27, assuming Square Enix France is right.

That would hopefully put the US date as the 24th of July.

Or earlier.

They could very well be translating it to French/Spanish/German/Italian, which would make it come out quite a bit after the US release.

*Revives the thread with an info dump*

KHinsider wrote:-Kingdom Hearts 3D will be 35 hours; longer, of course, if you do all of the minigames and Dream Eater training
-Fighting style can be completey different depending on what Dream Eaters you use.
-The first package design for Kingdom Hearts 3D featured King Mickey mainly, with Riku and Sora as side parts. Nomura didn't feel like it fit the title, so he redesigned the cover to what it is now.
-Buying the game comes with one Augmented Reality (AR) card for one rare Dream Eater, but you'll be able to get the recipe for them in the game via StreetPass, but remember it will be rare to do so.
-The mysterious figure in the black coat isn't necessarily new, but they are important to the story.
-About the key phrase, "Those who are asleep in sadness": Sora and Riku are preparing to rescue them.
-At first they planned to have Sora go to original Tron world, and Riku go to Tron Legacy world.
-Other than Ansem and Xemnas who appear often, Lea and the mysterious silver haired boy are key characters.
-In the end we'll finally see Xemnas/Ansem's true form.
-Donald and Goofy couldn't be team mates this time because they are not Keyblade wielders. Thus the Dream Eaters were developed to serve as party members.

-The growth system of the Dream Eaters is connected to Sora and Riku's growth.
-Dream Eater's growth is like a breeding system, treating them well makes them grow better.
-The command system is different than BBS, it's more of a mix between Days and Re:coded's systems.
-King Wondernyan isn't an evolution of a Wondernyan, they are separate Dream Eaters.
-The main mini game you play with then is called Flick Crash, which combines speed and action aspects.
-You can name your Dream Eaters.
-There are 50 kinds of Dream Eaters you can partner with, however boss Dream Eaters are not included.

Important bits are bolded, of course.

Not sure how I am liking the Command system being changed, it was darn near perfect in ReCoded... =/

Ah, and yeah, I'll be playing this come early April, got all the money set aside-- just waiting for Playasia to open up pre-orders for the 3DS bundle. Anyone want me to take some pictures when I get it? I know that it's a few weeks away; and moving might cut into that, but still.
