Well I could get it for a dollar cheaper on Gamer's Gate with a promo I have, but I'd prefer to have it on Steam if I can.

Using Steam's DRM functionality isn't a requirement. It's first and foremost a digital distribution platform. The rest is up to the publishers.

For absolutely shizzle, April 27th.

It will be available from the CTHCC website (www.cherrytreehigh.com) on the 27th, 100% DRM / crunk free and then will roll out to other distributors over the following days / weeks.

Capcom is handling all the 3rd party distributors and it's looking like they *should* start coming online from the week of April 30th.
