Ah yes, the 'dead' DS.
There are more DSs out there than 3DSs by a very large margin, so it still makes sense if what you're designing can fit on a DS.

I didnt say the ds was dead. But it is pretty much phased out at this point.

A cross over like this doesnt make too much sense to me. I got the other spinoffs, but not this.

I'm still curious if it'll be Nintendo or Koei localizing it (who's the main one publishing it in Japan anyways? Koei?) Somehow, I have a feeling over here it'll be Koei. NoA will be NoA :/ And honestly, I'd rather see them bring 2 more Wii RPGs than this. So, since Koei doesn't do nearly as much, I think this would be a big title for them! I wonder how it'll fair here though.... A way to teach kids about Japanese history? Actually make the game FOR an older audience? Or, still localize it and make it goofy because ya know, Americas r two dum for this sort of thing :p Too 'Japanesey' :p

You know nintendo right? They would take full control over this. Youd be lucky if you knew koei was involved at all.

Its enough that last story and pandoras tower are coming in english at all.

You know what, I can think of some other titles that didn't make it here:

-Pokemon Typing w/keyboard (and why not have little kids learn to type? Oh right, in Japan they were learning english, and here all kids know how to type :p)

-TCG lesson game-thing (the bonus DS game that came with some TCG, teaching you how to play the game with that deck)

Hmmm maybe asking Operation Rainfall for support on this title would be an idea...

If it was in dev for awhile thats a different story than if its fairly new within the last 6 months


If they feel pokemon can still sell here on the ds sure they will localize it

In all honesty, have you SEEN the upcoming DS titles coming to North America? http://www.gamestop.com/browse/games/nintendo-ds?nav=28-xu0,1386-5-ffff2418 That's it! Either than Devil Survivor 2, I doubt there will be any more first party games made for the system (and if there are, they won't make it to NA). Whether Pokemon will come, either under the Nintendo or Koei label, is anyone's good guess right now. Once again, Pokemon Typing DS never came here, but for a good reason.

Yeah... not much else going for it! Although, I hope it won't be like PS2 where they STILL decide to make new games for it... C'mon, there can't be THAT many people buying copies of EA/2K sports for PS2 still.... can there?
