I liked Riviera's dub, it was on par with the Japanese track.

I'm used to games not having voices, after playing 30 hours of Trails in the Sky. The game will be voiced, not entirely voiced, NIS America does that all the time

This is a LOT less than that.

Trails never had a dub in the first place.

If this were a Vita game...then I wouldn't stand for it. But, it's on the PSP, the dub can be fixed relatively easily.

Still, I was hoping they'd put a little more effort into it.

The only voices you will ever hear are during Anime cutscenes, which will be dub voices. Other than that, nothing.

The following image says there are only English voices during anime cutscenes, due to licensing restrictions. There is no English dub other than in those scenes.

The licensing issues has to deal with the lack of a Japanese track. The script's length is causing only the anime cutscenes to be voiced in English.
