Well, there's numerous ways I could pick that apart, as although things are relative, this isn't a relative length:cost ratio for a game.
You could compare to to cinema tickets, but games also require an upfront investment in the form of a platform to play the games on in the first place, therefore you effectively spread that cost of the console amongst all of the purchases made for it. Going to see a movie simply doesn't have that, as you don't have to pay for anything else before you can there that will be reused for future purchases.
I've probably not made it very clear, but it's difficult for me to explain for some reason. I'm not getting the right wording in my head.
