A place for everybody to talk about anything game-related.

The event scenes got a massive improvement
I still don't get the two gauges below the Character's Hp (I know one is for the support)

Like all Atelier games I played, I don't know if the Alchemy system works like in Totori or Meruru

The approach to dialogue is still poop. Give me the more VN-ish style instead of this higgledy-piggly lip-moving. Otherwise, it looks dandy-great. The music is lovely (with the exception of that battle music around 1:55).

And there's still the chasm between character and environment. And there's the Sterk clone.
The gauges were in some previous Atelier games, Asuka. You filled them by doing things in battle and used them to activate skills. It may not be the same for certain, but it looks to be.

It's better than how some games handles 3D character models. Looks like how tales of graces handles character dialouge (minus skits).
Also about the lip synch, this MIGHT not be the finished version of the game let's wait a little longer for that.

"It's better than mk2" isn't really flattering anything.

Graphics look good, and I really love the environment when Ayesha is exploring.

Lip synch bothers me. A lot. If they're gonna dump the 2D portraits, they should at least make the lip synch good.

I wonder if they will have a DLC of Gust-chan from the Neptunia series for this one, akin to how Nisa showed up as an extra for Disgaea 4?

More Video preview
This time we get more of an introduction for Regina and Willibell, and a hint of the story.

Loved it ~

Translation of the Wilbell scene :
Spoiler:
???
"*Sniff* *Sniff* *Sniff*
Just what is that strange smell?"

Ayesha
"Huh?"

???
"*Sniff* *Sniff*
This is...the scent of a magician isn't it"

- Wilbell Voil-EraLied -

Ayesha
"Ma...gician?"

Wilbell
"That sweet fragrance. Is it... candy?"

Ayesha
"Whaa-?
That is, who might you be..?"

Wilbell
"Don't try to hide it from me. You have candy right?
Just give me one."

As always, it's my own personal translation so please don't take it as official. And there may be mistakes of course. I'm pretty confident of this one though. I'll probs get around to Regina/Nio later on maybe.

Wait, so Ayesha's sister is dead?

Suddenly the game's grim art style makes a lot more sense...

She's thought to be dead or missing. But then Ayesha thinks she sees and hears Nio while out one day and is determined to find her.

I have to admit, depending on where they go with the plot this game could be a head-trip, and we know from ArTon that Gust can do head-trips. I can't wait.

Depending on how they take the story, this can be real good XD
The battle system already looks amazing so all we need is the story.
