Taken from another site a friend linked me to.

I believe this was announced a month or so ago on one of Nintendo's mini press conferences that they did live over their stream. Lots of info has been popping up lately since then on it and it actually looks pretty decent. Many cross over characters from multiple games throughout Namco-Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA's library.

Some of them you may know, some of them not so much. Regardless it looks pretty groovy and I would love to see a localization of it. Even despite the fact that their previous crossover (NamcoXCapcom) on the PS2 never made it out over here.

Funny enough, a group of Facebook and Twitter fans have started a North American/European fan backing of it. While many people are quick to dismiss these kinds of projects and say they never do anything, it is always still good to chat about the games with your fellow fans. And since the 3DS is region-locked anyway it can't hurt to try.

Regarding Capcon, 1,000+ on Facebook won't be enough to encourage them. If 100,000(+) strong for ML3 isn't enough to start working on the title again, I'm not sure 1,000+ would warrant a localization....

I do hope to hear about it next week though! *crosses fingers*

Yup. Besides Capcom said that Namco Bandai in a charge for the release (and a possible localization) so the fans should ask them instead.

I was actually going to say "it's the other way around with who said what" and then I read this:
http://operationrainfall.com/project-x- ... om-capcom/
...does anyone know who owns it?? -_- No? Well, then things look bleak for a localization...

This reminds me of the scenario where a kid asks both parents a question, only to get a "go ask your mother" and "go ask your father" for an answer :/

I would say Namco Bandai is the best bet.

Namco Bandai is the developing the game I believe so they are the ones you would want to hit up.

Also, while the "end-goal" of a localization support group is to of course see said product localized, the major factor of them is to generate buzz and public interest so that we send a message to companies saying, "HEY! LOOK AT US! WE WANT THIS!"

And in regards to MML3, that was an entirely different scenario. Their group is focused on reviving a dead project whereas this one (and many others to come in the future I am sure) is focused on generating buzz in NA/EU for a game that still hasn't even been released in its home country yet. Better to start now though than never.

Remember, if you want a game to be localized, show your support and like, tweet, post, send emails, and call.

Operation Rainfall started off as a group of 10 friends who wanted to see XB, Last Story, and Pandoras Tower localized, look where they are now. I'm not saying every project is going to turn into that but what's that golden saying again? Goes something like..

"If you want to succeed, YOU have to put the first foot forward."

Niche games like these aren't going to be green-lighted for localization unless WE show THEM that we want them. Best of luck to all future games and the people who want to play them.

Agreed, but sometimes you need large numbers to prove that there is a consumer base big enough to look into these projects. Operation Rainfall ended up having 10,000+ around their time of promoting Xenoblade. The Tales fanbase grew to an amazing amount too, once Namco added a Tales page on Facebook. That's basically the point I'm getting at, even though not all fans are on said Facebook page, it's still nice to see those fan numbers for a given project.
