Something amiss in Gliese Ruins?

Postby Bal-Sagoth » Fri May 30, 2014 11:24 am

So, I just reached said place, and was going for a 300% conquest, when... Well, the last spot to conquer is in a place reachable by warp... Except that the warp seems somehow inactive.

It doesn't shine like the others, and do absolutely nothing.

I also took notice that in the map menu a technique called "ultimate warp" is referenced.

Must I conclude that I need aforementioned skill in order to get past that seemingly inactive warp?

That will be all. Thank you for your time.

Yup, you do need the Ultimate Warp which is what you get pretty soon.

So, I am experiencing some issues with the game, but not of the technical sort.

And I might as well use this topic instead of creating another.

I need a Pinky Rod. Which needs a Strange staff to be made, which, in turn, needs "transparent skin" material in order to be crafted.

I never found such material and I'm already on chapter 8. The bestiary does not provide any help either.

Also, in order to acquire a rock cutter, I would need a "waterjet" sword... Except that you can't buy / make such weapon. I raided the aerial and locked chests of the previous stages, to no avail : the needed components are not stocked in those contraptions. (Some chests are still to be plundered, though, because I lack the proper skills or doesn't have the proper boost to an already acquired power)

I understand the game principle consisting in selling the materials to the merchant in order to be able to buy some more advanced weaponry, but I just don't have the required materials.

The questions are :

- where are aforementioned materials ;
- from which monsters do they drop, if they do drop? ;
- where are said monsters? ;
- which method should be used to acquire the materials (do they just drop, or must thieving skills be used?).

There's also another issue : I can't conquer Rose World. The tenth and last planet spot is in the red, saying "would you like to go the next world?"

Whatever it means by "next", I am way beyond the "next" world, having visited Silver World, Violet World, Crimson World and Ebon World since then, as well as the dungeons from these planets.

And Silver World was 300% conquered.

The questions are :

- when does the tenth spot appears? ;
- which world should I visit? ;
- is there yet another bug?

That will be all. Thank you for your time.

No, there are not bugs for this - you just need to keep progressing through the story. XD Lots of materials are found in the Mugen Field, so that will be easier once it's fixed and such. Just keep selling your materials (and spares of items), and you'll eventually run across this stuff.

Transparent skin is from Leptocephalus in White World, he's quite tricky to find because he's located in a giant platform by himself right in the center of the map.
This should have every enemy from the normal list but if you don't find the component you want, that means it's found in the Mugen Field.
http://mugen-souls.wikia.com/wiki/World_Bestiary_(Mugen_Souls_Z)

You can only get 300% on Rose World after you get the true ending, infact, you don't have to get 100% on the place with pinky rod now, just continue with the story.
Also, in order to acquire a rock cutter, I would need a "waterjet" sword... Except that you can't buy / make such weapon. One Waterjet component is found in the Mugen Field 100 bet, carnage route floors 21-29 and 30 on all routes. I think you need an Iron Lump or something.

Also, this game is not like the original Mugen Souls, it's impossible to get every to 300% right away unless you finished the true ending route.

Those are indeed enlightening informations, I now know what I should do, and that everything is fine with the game.

You've both been of great assistance, and for that, you have my thanks.

The informations displayed in the wikia will serve well, too.

You're welcome, the JP wiki for Mugen Souls Z is also very good.

I should have thought about that, it was fairly obvious. Thanks for pointing that out. (on a side note, that lass from your signature is quite the adorable view)
