Can't let your random vote go without a counter vote. It would make me sad if lopez turned out to be a townie, and was voted Day 1 due to a bandwagon. Thus, an opposition needs to be made until we can at least make a coherent target that a good number of us agree on (or not, since you're all free to do as you want, I guess).

Anyway, I personally think a separate thread just for the participants should be made, to make sure people who are playing play and people who are not, not comment in the thread at all. That's how I view things.

@bloody: You can institute a Night 0, in which no powers are active. It's technically a useless phase yes, but it does give people a chance to get their bearings.

At this time in which there is pretty much no information available, it is important to vote because that will yield interactions. These interactions will be very useful in identifying a mafioso.

I am interested whether cAPS_lOCK is actually absent or merely feigning absence via not logging in (potentially as the ultimate strategy for surviving day 1: a low profile; possibly resulting in him not even knowing his role?). Perhaps he will react to this:

What's preventing you from voting someone else? You could do anything you want to just vote someone else.

Basically what I'm saying is that there is no "throw away" vote in this game unless you think that our votes cannot move. That is definitely false. My vote is as detachable and movable as I want it to be.
