I agree that there should be some more unique skills which are two edged or useful only at certain situation (even if I'm not too fond of this specific one)

That actually reminds me of a strange idea I had today. Creating new classes or higher tiers by fusing two (or perhaps more) characters. Pretty good idea that reminds me of Magic Change

Overall I think adding unique effects (similar to evilties) to armor and weapons is a great idea
My ideasDispatching - To have side quest that you can send party members to finish themselves (similar to what done in FFT series). Also, to have the ability to send a team to the item world and they'll level up the item themselves (I guess there should be payment for that or special ticked or some kind of condition so that it not abused)
Characters Achievements - To show status for every character (number of kills, highest damage and etc) and award various prizes based on it (for example giving a prize for "over 500 kills" or something like that). And/Or giving prizes for general achievements with characters such as "over 100 kills with a cleric", "unlocking last tier with the ___ class" and etc.
Choices - It's nice and all to have multiply endings, but I would feel much better if we get them through plot-related choices (like in visual novels) and not killing team members or losing to rivals (although the latter is still nice)
