Miku was my first favorite and I still lover her, but I also really like Luka. I wouldn't mind seeing more Luka and less Miku for a while.

i like Miku the best because she's the most original-looking character. all the others are pretty generic-looking and don't have as much thought put into their designs.

plus, Miku has the most costumes and i love playing dress-up :D

...I don't really agree. Miku seems about as 'generic' as any of the others. Miku only has the most costumes because she's the most popular.

Oh, and the songs included are Nekomimi Switch (Miku), Palette (Luka) and Append Mix (Rin and Ren).

Okay quick Q: Is Extend the same game as 2nd but with more stuff added? I haven't bought 2nd yet and Extend is coming out soon. I would rather only get one game instead of both since the yen rate is horrible atm. I've heard that some people are complaining since it is the same game with additions but I couldn't find any definite proof either way...

No, in fact, 2nd has more songs overall than Extend.
