It's just another way to physically enjoy for a while (such as eating, running or sleeping). But the way society treats it, it sounds like it's such a great thing that you'll never want to stop doing it or something. Pretty much like a drug.

But since in RL most people DON'T get addicted to it or anything, it's obvious it's just overrated.

Well, I guess there's more than enough popcorn to go around for everybody. Can't really complain about that.

It IS correct that outward beauty isn't really that big a deal. Because age will destroy any outward 'beauty' of a person. No one can escape that. Also, a 'conniseur of women' sounds like a fluffed up term for a player, and someone who was only really in it for the sex. Which, to me, doesn't at all seem like someone to take advice from regarding the superiority of real life people compared to anime characters. Anime characters have many faults which cannot be fixed.

One, they have no actual depth to them. Sure, a fake sort of depth can be projected onto the character by the person, but it's not really there. Two, they cannot administer any sort of actual comfort/support. The only support you get from them, is support you created yourself. Which really means that you're supporting yourself, and giving yourself comfort/motivation. Three, they cannot proceed in intercourse. Of course, the importance of this is debatable. Four, they are usually without much physical flaws. This is one of the biggest problems with anime girls. They're too idealistic, and therefore lack any of the surprise/spontaniety that a real life person can provide you with. Five (not applicable to all 2D girls), they cannot reject you. This may seem like a plus to a lot of people, but a rejection is a great way to become a better person, and a time to realize the faults you never realized you had. Six, You know everything about them. This is a great source of boredom. When you know everything about them, it just takes a lot of the fun out of getting to know someone.

There are more benefits, but this was just a way to put together a short list of why real-life people are superior to fictional characters.

(My personal opinion : Real life girls are sexier/cuter anyways.)

Real people are better than fake people. Simple as that.
