Just wondring.
There was a total of 13 players.
How many of them you assume are mafia?
6? 5? 4?

Without giving anything away, I will say that if there were six members of the Mafia, the game would be over right now. The Mafia wins when they control 50% of the votes.

Wait, isn't their goal is to eliminate all townies?

If they control 50% of the vote at the end of a day, they can night kill their way to a majority. If they have 50% at the end of a night phase, then they can force a tie at worst, which would leave everything to chance. If the Mafia controls more than 50%, they could just slowly vote everyone to death. As that would prolong the game unnecessarily, it just ends at 50%.

I would say if there was a tie, then perhaps a mafia member might not be around and forget to vote. That is less likely as the mafia buddies would be doing everything they could to remind them to vote. But I guess it still could happen.

Also if there is a night person who isn't a mafia member like the doctor there is a chance that they could save someone.

the manga was kind of interesting. started out strong, but quickly fell apart.

Can't believe I actually agree with Hero.
Rather, can't believe he's the only person I have ever heard that actually thinks the same way as me about the series (even though I watched the anime. But it supposed to be pretty much the same as far as I heard).

The first part of the anime (haven't read the manga) was definitely stronger. The live action took out and changed a lot of what made the anime great.

The anime and manga are almost the same. I like the voice actors in the anime, and the manga has slightly better explanations of their actions.
Also, I agree that the first half of the series was better than the second half despite the introduction of some interesting characters.

Well, I'm not really seeing much on Xeras. Though, Xeras did give quite a discussion. Of course, there's also how nosy SJ has been. He may have been just like that in the other game, but that doesn't mean we should rule it out.

Well, he's acting really suspicious. That's easy enough to see. But, any old townie could act suspicious as well. Of course, the main problem I've having is that he's let it be known that he's a veteran to this. So, it wouldn't be very senseful for him to make so many mistakes.

But, he could just suck at this game. And always makes silly mistakes. It's not an easy decision to make.

Please expand. I'm really not all that up on stuff. I mean, I've played Mafia a bunch of times now, but when people throw out terms, I get confused.

For me, the fact that he says he's a vet, and does so many things that make him suspicious is the problem I'm seeing. The things he does, also would seem to endanger the town. I guess I'm still not getting it, but I just can't see how voting for yourself can be a good thing, especially when people already have votes on you.

I don't think that much else outside of that, besides the constant contradictions/lies, I really get. And, to be honest, I'm only taking people's words for there being contradictions/lies (for some of the stuff I can actually see it, but for some of it, I just don't have a clue what people mean).

So, it could actually be manipulation on the part of the people who are saying these things about Xeras.

Vampko, I never claimed to be a veteran. I said I have played it in groups of real people. The lack of faces makes it harder for me, so I need to experiment with different ideas.
