I actually realized something when I took my lunch break at 5. So all night I have been thinking about the pros and cons. The way my question looks is the biggest con I found.

Hmm... also does the detective get his/her response soon as necro is online, or does he/she get it at the end of the night?

The cop should get their results at the end of the night/beginning of the day.

Even the most veteran player can be wrong at times. But claiming to be a vet is not why Xeras is suspicious here.

Please expand. I'm really not all that up on stuff. I mean, I've played Mafia a bunch of times now, but when people throw out terms, I get confused.

What I'm saying is that just because he says he's experienced (playing in real life counts too) doesn't mean he can't be wrong. He can still make mistakes. But I'm not suspicious of Xeras just because he says he's played before and has made a few mistakes.

Xeras is suspicious to me BECAUSE of the mistake, yes, but it has nothing to do with him being experienced.

For me, the fact that he says he's a vet, and does so many things that make him suspicious is the problem I'm seeing. The things he does, also would seem to endanger the town. I guess I'm still not getting it, but I just can't see how voting for yourself can be a good thing, especially when people already have votes on you.

Right. Basically, I'm suspicious of him for the "...so many things that make him suspicious" part of you r post. Namely, his experiment and the PM debacle during Day 1. His experience level has nothing to do with it.

I don't think that much else outside of that, besides the constant contradictions/lies, I really get. And, to be honest, I'm only taking people's words for there being contradictions/lies (for some of the stuff I can actually see it, but for some of it, I just don't have a clue what people mean).

If you don't have a clue what people mean, then ask! Seriously, it just might prove fruitful if you do. If someone's trying to manipulate you and they have to explain what they mean in further detail, they might just screw up; you never know.

So, it could actually be manipulation on the part of the people who are saying these things about Xeras.

Maybe, but I have the impression that pretty much every player is suspicious of him now.

The question he asked about the mafia does make him rather suspicious. I can see no benefit for anyone to ask that in the thread. If he is mafia, then he basically outed himself. If he is a townie, then he just made himself rather suspicious and thus leading the townies to make another false move. He should have just asked that in a pm. Or he could have at least said anyone characters night action, mafia, cop or doctor. Once someone sends their vote in can they change it? That way the townies would less likely vote him off as they don't want to vote off the cop or doctor either.

Originally, it was just a random choice between Lopez and Nazou, because they both voted for Phoenix, whom people were trying real hard to implicate, without giving any real reason. In the previous games I've been in, that's tended to be a sure sign of Mafia. Problem is, that it's very possible it's only one of them. Hence, the random vote.

Then, after going back and reviewing stuff, as I was getting kind of confused (from all my unexpected absensces from the game), I realized that Nazou not only voted for Phoenix, but then stated it was 'random', only to then change it to 'it's my gut feeling'. This kind of action seemed really suspicious to me, and the more I saw of Nazou, the more I saw someone who said little, and contradicted himself. So, I kept the vote on him. Then, with the stuff about Xeras, I was contemplating changing it near the end. But then I found out about that surprise D&D session, had to leave for it, and by the time I got home, the time was already up. I actually thought the Day phase was ending at 8PM (Pacific Time), because I'm not very good with time zones. So, I thought I would be fine before I left. But, by the time I got home, it was already too late, and the votes were locked in.

So, that's why I voted for Nazou at that time, and why I didn't switch my vote before the end.

I know he can make mistakes. And it looks like I'm not the only one who suspects him. Also, I will be better about asking these things from now on. As I just posted, I've been pretty out of it because people kept on surprising me with stuff which I would have felt bad if I said 'no' to. I don't like getting my schedule changed, and I always plan out my day once I wake up, and my night as well, but when I have class, I plan it after class ends. Of course, it's not like I write anything in stone or anything, but I go over it in my head. So, I will definitely be sure to ask questions and stuff.

It's enjoyable as long as it's not my life
And I just enjoy seeing some talk here and seeing that things happen. Nothing happens with me in the game so at least let me enjoy seeing something happen with other players

This was (as Bloo said) a question probably more suitable to a PM, but I'll answer it as it shouldn't really affect gameplay. Once any role which has a night action PMs me its choice (there's another bit of protocol, but it's irrelevant for purposes here), that choice is locked in.

So far, every claim I see is very logical but also very baseless depends on how you look on it.

So... since I have nothing better to do...
