vote: Lopez
DarkClaymore - 3 (SjSharks, DisgaeaBlitz, Bloo)
Quillbell - 2 (Lopez, Xeras)
Lopez - 4 (Aphrah, Necro, Jericho,DarkClaymore)
Xeras - 2 (Shizuka, Mizu)
Necrofantasia - 1 (Nazou)
Problem?

Wonderful idea!

Xeras wrote:My reason? It will be easier to build a bandwagon on Necro, and I don't Lopez to die again so early. Otherwise, we might as just give the permanent scapegoat role. When Lopez dies, one of the people that did not vote for him dies at random.

Xeras wrote:I started posting before he updated it. Then again, he probably started updating it before I posted it.
At this point, I completely refuse to vote for Lopez though. I don't feel like voting for Xtra, Nazou, or Mizu either. I want to see the newer people get past day one. ^^
Edit: And Necro is scary. Call it paranoia and fear.

Necrofantasia wrote:That brings me to Lopez. Lopez always looks suspicious. He rolefished in Simplicity Mafia and seemingly accuses people on a whim but doesn't change his vote as often as someone like Xeras and his overall strategy doesn't seem as variable. Maybe it's just his play style, but one of these games he will be Mafia and will have the reasoning of "I always look suspicious; it's just how I roll" to back him up. Maybe that's this game. It's D1 and there's little to go off, so he seems as good a choice as anyone else, so...

Hmmm... let's talk strategy, statistics and behavior.
I always act "suspicious" because I want to shake up the players. When people are more active and being accused what happens? Slip-ups, lies, feigning ignorance and/or hasty bandwagons. Now if I start hassling everyone what happens? Revenge voting and/or blowing off my accusation/inquiries with fluff, though more likely the former. So, knowing this why would I change my vote so often?
During this game, what happened when I pressed Clay and Quill with votes? 2 revenge votes.
During the last game, what happened when I pressed Ubi for why he didn't create a tie on the first day to save Naz? Some BS about not "knowing" the player, well "enough" to save him... this coming from one of the people who loves lurking, analyzing people's comments and acting as archivist for various forum functions.
Now statistics. How many times out of all 6 games (not counting Bloo's first game) have the mafia members been outright suspicious (I.e like Clay or me)? How many of them have "played it safe" by staying quiet or just stayed lurking while the townies have done all the work? How many times has Shizuka been mafia? Do you remember that time he needed to find a replacement? What was his role before he left? How many times have I incited anger and been a townie? How many times have I pegged 1-2 mafia
members before I got killed?
If we're going to use this circular logic of "o, it's their time to be mafia", then how come Quill and Bloody aren't more suspicious? How many times have they been townie in all 6 games? I'm not pegging Quill because of this, but because she has been more distant than usual, especially when she lurks in Random while this thread goes crazy with replies. Maybe I should use Nec's logic of "probability, that's how she rolls and/or she's not beig aggressive, so she can't be mafia"
I'm not using the excuse "well that's how I roll", I'm saying I've almost always caused some sort of slip-ups by the mafia every time...it's just that the townies are so quick to go for the "obvious" suspicious person kill over actually thinking about what was said and what occurred.
Note: sorry for the grammar problems and bad sentence structure. It's so freaking hard to edit long posts on my phone...
