Hidden meaning of Phase 2 (Sephiroth/Kabbalah Tree of Life)

Did anyone else notice the possible hidden meaning behind the beacon in phase 2. It is strikingly similar to the path to enlightenment as set out by the Kabbalah Tree of Life / Sephirot(h) (no, not the FF7 character). If you don't know what that is, google it and you will instantly see the similarities. I am almost tempted to play though it again to see if the mini games correspond with the corresponding path to enlightenment (it would make sense considering Phase 2 is supposed to be a form of enlightenment.
