Fate/Extra General Thread

HELL YEAH!!

At Anime Expo in Los Angeles today, Aksys Games has announced that Imageepoch developed Fate/Extra, will be making its way to North America later this year.

This may come to a surprise to many, as the PSP market is far from well in the west. Aksys will be releasing the game in both retail and PSN form, complete with a Limited Edition version.

For those unfamiliar with the Fate series, Fate/Extra is set in a parallel universe from the original Fate/stay night visual novel. Players will be able to chose between a male or female character, as well as one of the game's many servants. The game features a turn-based battle system, which is very comparable to what we've seen in the Persona series.

Look forward to Fate/Extra this Fall; no localization has been announced for Europe as of this posting.

By that definition, the Atelier games are pretty much all otome games, and P3P as well.

But, I really wanted this game to happen, so I'm not going to complain ~

Perhaps, but they're releasing Hakuoki as well, and that's as typical an Otome game as anyone could've hoped for. I am very pleased.
