something weird about the Lurkers

HI,

I am on my second play through on Riz's route, and when you at to the point where you start fighting lurkers, I noticed that the lurkers you encounter has a bit of their HP chipped off eventhough I haven't fight them before. Is this a glitch or something?

Its no glitch dood its alreadly like that but consider it a good thing ( a perk if you will, you can keep chiping its health away then retreat). lets say you almost beat a lurker ... then you died you can go back in to that particular dungeon to beat it but it will regain back some health
but the longer you wait the more HP it gains i did that a few times already

They recover 10% of their max HP per day I think.
The not being at full health to begin with might be something to do with having a higher difficulty though.

I was at normal difficulty during the first play through, and I changed to hard difficulty during my second play through. So do you think is the level of difficulty change that cause the chipped off HP of the lurkers when you encounter them for the first time?

Just a thought, as if the difficulty increase only increased their max HP like it does on level-up and not the current HP, that would explain the gap, at least before they heal it.

... hmm i suppose i'll check this out too somthing been bugging me about it anyway.

I thought it may have something do do with the following
1.weapons, Armour, ect
2.meteorites or meteorite skills
3. potentiality
4.Difficulty

it appears it was none of these the lurkers health is still chipped it was probably 20% off its health when i decided to check it out (second playthough riz) ( i played on normal as well)

O okay, thank you for going through all that trouble to find the reason.
I wonder if that only happens in Riz route, since I started with kanata's route and the lurker's HP wasn't chipped off.

Something weird that happened with my characters after defeating certain Lurkers is that they leveled up about 30 levels at once. If i remember right one of them is called tough teacher and even though it was very strong, it was way too many levels at once. At first I thought it was a bug but happened again once or twice.
Thanks to that now I'm level 160 in my post-game Kanata route.

The tough teacher was in that school area but I don't know how many Lurkers with the same name are there. I think I have broke it's barrier once before killing. It was possible to defeat it without destroying the barrier but I wanted to get a trophy by getting high damage points so I tried to destroy it using triangle or another button that was doing more damage on his barrier than in his life.
It was a few months ago so I don't remember well but those Lurkers were pretty strong for my level (after beating the main story) and I had to use many recovery items to defeat them.

hmm ok. thanks for the info it could have been a high level school dungeon. but heck no matter which lurker i beat i only got like one or at the most 5 levels up even the last boss barley gave me that many .
