CAVE STORY 3D HITTING STREETS ON
AUGUST 9, 2011 (Now, November 8th)!

Santa Ana, Calif. – NIS America is proud to announce today the official release date for
the highly anticipated Cave Story 3D for the Nintendo 3DS™ console in North America!
The European release will follow a month after in September, 2011!
Cave Story 3D embodies the unmistakable Cave Story feel in a new 3 dimensional form.
The legendary game mechanics is now combined with cutting edge handheld graphics
and a remix soundtrack to give a new life.

ABOUT CAVE STORY 3D

Cave Story 3D is a side scrolling action adventure game inspired by the fan-favorite 2D
original. Now in a full 3D world, Cave Story takes the proven 2D action, exploration into
stereoscopic awesomeness. You wake up in a cave with no idea who you are or where
you came from, but you know you must help a cute race of rabbit-like creatures beat the
crap out of some crusty old doctor.
As you advance through the game, you’ll learn the origin of the Mimiga world and even
your own. Like the critically acclaimed Pixel masterpiece, Cave Story 3D is a combination
of high-speed shooting action scenes with heavy emphasis on platforming, exploration,

Aside from that one Shin Megami Tensei game, it seems as if this is the only worthwhile 3DS game that will be released this year.

To be honest, I'm considering buying a 3DS this summer just for those two games.

I'm buying a 3DS for two reasons:

* Megaman Legends 3

* Cave Story 3D

I'm getting a 3DS for several games but thats not what this topic is about.

I wonder how much new content is being added to this version?
I heard something about a Wind Fortress?
Sounds damn good to me!

I played through the PC version and only got one ending just so I could play through this one 100%.

I loved the original freeware game...I will totally get this...once I get a 3DS. Which won't be for a long while.

One of the reasons I bought a 3DS in the first place was for CS3DS, but also for games like SSF3D or Mega Man legends 3.
