Direct your complaints here about how Namco handled Shiny Festa (link seems down)

It's been announced in Japan, it's on the PS3 (which is NISA's thing), and it would be totally amazing! So, yeah. I made the request because NB would likely never touch this.

Would you have to play the first one to get the gist of the second [email protected]'s story or characters? I've never played but I know it's a popular series.

I don't believe there's any sort of problem with having not played the first, outside of the unfamiliarity of the gameplay.

i don't think it will matter, but you could always watch the anime. i think it's more or less the same story.

Hmm, I think I asked this a long time ago and forgot the answer (sorry!), but how tough would the music licensing be? How much is made for the games, how much is licensed J-Pop, and if there's a lot of licensed music, is it at least all from the same publisher?

And I think NISA should try to license the anime too (although that might have actual competition). :)
