You know all nis japan is doing is ports. Nothing original.

Considering it will allow people who can't afford a PS3, as pretty much everyone gets screwed over with PS3 prices outside of America, or is good for those who would either prefer their time-intensive SRPGs in handheld form, to play the game, it's not a bad thing, as no ill can come of more people playing Disgaea.
stealth20k wrote:the vita cant handle hd though...........even disgaea 3 the backgrounds will look slightly worse.

Though when do you ever stare at the backgrounds all that much? It's something you admire for a bit then just fail to pay much attention to. I bet the loss in quality between the PS2 and PSP games is hardly that noticeable unless you keep flipping between the two versions constantly, and it'll likely be a similar deal.

If people cant afford a ps3 now thats sad.

And its never good that nis japan cant do anything original.

3 ports for every 1 new game is not the way to get new people to like there games

Says the guy that thinks the 3DS is THE shit. Seriously, I couldn't help but to make that comment, you looked so silly I just needed.

What does this have to do with the 3ds? I know the graphics arent good. Thats not what I bought it for

You're biased, that's what it has to do. Even I'm biased, that's why I try not to talk about the 3DS that much, but Disgaea 3 won't look any less on the Vita than on the PS3. The game had pretty normal graphics, it hasn't aged well and if you ask me, NIS will have to enhance the graphics for a Vita release.

They might be starting their Vita debut with a port, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't make anything original, just tossing that out there

I certainly am not bias.
Even the psp versions of the games didnt look as good.

Its just fact that the vita cant handle hd and the disgaea 3 backgrounds are hd. So there will be a difference

I'd like to point out that I know how expensive they are, considering people still don't have much disposable income as the number of jobs is still rather lacking, and I bought my 160GB PS3 in January for just under £200, equating to ~$326 (USD), which is when it was in quite a generous sale as well.
Now tell me that's not expensive and we're not getting screwed over in prices. :|

still I do feel sorry for those people that cant afford one but I am thinking about how nis japan can grow as a company and whats really better for them. I am not convinced endless ports will bring growth. It hasnt really up to this point for nis japan

I want, at the very least, all the DLC from the PS3 version included on the retail version.

I want new games as well. Why not ZHP2 at launch instead of Disgaea 3?
