The problem is that in local currency that's 3700 pesos. Now, your average salary here is 2500-3000 pesos. I don't think I need to explain why nobody would buy a console that expensive...

The PS3 is R$1500, and the minimum wage is R$550. Three months working to pay for a single PS3.

And each game is around 130~220R$. Only few games you can find under this value.

For example I bought Hyperdimension Neptunia Premium box(box + artbook) for 220R$, and Disgaea 4 Premiun Figurine set is around 600R$ in some stores.

At least the price isn't that far off from the original price of the games. The PS3 price is just completely wrong though, it's more expensive than its original launch price in the US.

I didn't play it for long initially, and I am at 22% trophies. But, between school, work, kids and the wife it will probably take a bit longer. Not to mention D4.
