Gotta' go with shine beam. I always thought sexy beam was, well, sexy, but useless. It never seemed to do enough damage and the target area was awkward (if cool).

I voted Shine Beam because I find it more helpful since it's range is much more convenient. Etna's looks better and I don't even like Mao, but Etna's scattered range isn't my style.

I prefer Mao's light beam. It is much easier for me to hit a line of 3 enemies than (I think) 8
in the shape of a heart. Now if it was Majon Hanako's beam that was against Mao's light beam I'll pick hers (her beam strikes 5 enemies in the shape of a plus).
