Trying to figure out if grinding for spheres only or if those are acceptable.
I'm at 180 at lvl 65

Good Fortune = 3 levels
Great Fortune = 5 levels
Level Sphere (green) = 5 levels
Level Sphere (yellow) = 10 levels
Level Sphere (red) = 15 levels
Ambush room = 5 levels

Item Boost gates #1-10 = 1 level each
Item Boost gates #11-17 = 2 levels each
Item Boost gates #18-19 = 3 levels each
What this means is, no matter when you start taking Item Boost gates, you will get 1 level per gate for the first 10 gates that you enter.

If you take all 19 Item Boost gates, they are worth 30 levels total.

What does the number next to status anomoly innocents correspond to?

I've heard that their level caps out at 100 so the logical conclusion would be that the number represents the percent chance of the resulting status effect but that doesn't seem right from my use in the past games. The main reason I'm asking is I'm toying with a status anomoly based set of monsters for a party instead of most of the main characters. Yes I know blasphemy of the highest order. :p The concept of such though is intriguing and I figured I would put status anomolies on all their weapons to maximize their effectiveness. I'm just curious how many of said innocents I will need to make it effective.

Yes, corresponds to % chance to afflict with that status. I'm pretty sure this only applies to normal attacks, and remember that the target can be resistant to the effect as well.

Thank You Kindly. I guess this just means I'll be farming a bit for my team. :)

100 base levels just from going through the item, +30 for strict Item Route, and +25/50/75 for RP Level Spheres.

So with all red spheres in RPing, that's... 95 levels to gain through the normal Item World stages. Meaning, 19 separate ambushes, Great Luck fortunes, or green level spheres. It actually seems easier to get to 300 now... o:

So I've just finished my Crowbar, I went with 4 ATK and 2 MV, is this any good?

HP 181740
SP 91020
MV 3
ATK 3100254
DEF 113700
INT 68340
RES 102360
HIT 1020900
SPD 113700

I had 8 Gladiators (and currently 8 Gladiators in already) while levelling, and then learnt it'd cap ATK without them.

But yeah, does that look ok for a Crowbar? xD

I've heard resetting to get red spheres in RP is like gouging your eyes out with a vacuum cleaner, so more like 50 levels from RP :) (Yellow spheres are the default in RP, red is rare. You only get green in IW.) So 120 levels during IW. Since you should have passed all bills after level 70, you can keep resetting after the first boss kill for floors 80/90/100, so that's 15. Add in the reset for floor 60 (if you pass bills on the first 5 towns, you'll never get a mushroom on 60) and you only need to get 100 levels "naturally" in the IW.

In my personal experience, if I don't watch out for how many levels I'm getting each set of 10 floors, I fall behind really quickly, so it may sound easy, but there's still a fair bit of resetting, unlike Disgaea 3 where you can overshoot without even trying.

Hard to tell since you're including the Gladiators on there, but the other stats look correct.

The ATK cap thing I may have mistyped, if you assume 300% aptitudes, 500 Monster Hunter, 500 Guardian, base character ATK of 1.2mil, and rarity matching, you will hit 100mil ATK with 3 ATK bills. If you're not going to get all of that, then you can pass all 6 bills in ATK to get a max value of 3,360,266, which will get there without Gladiators.

My character isn't even barely over 200% aptitudes and I'm already maxed on ATK (of course, I'm using ATK traps), so I'm going to have to redo some of my R40s once I actually get to 300%.

It took a few hours for me to get my first 3 Red Spheres, and then after 10 mins of resetting for 4th, I got 4th and 5th in a row. XD

And also yeah, I plan to get 300% aptitudes, and I guess I'll just see how it pans out once I finish the other gear, xD.

EDIT: Also.. I just beat up a Fortune Teller for giving me a bad fortune on a legendary R39 item I'm levelling for another R40, and it changed my bad fortune to good fortune, <_< does that always happen? And does it depend on the fortune? (Really bad to Super great, bad to good? Vice versa? If not Vice Versa, does it increase the level further by beating him if you get a good fortune? XD)

You don't get any extra levels if you get a good fortune.

If you get a bad fortune and then kill him... I'm not sure you always get the same number of levels. Once, I'm pretty sure I got a bad fortune, killed him, then, when I got to floor 10 and Gency'd out, I only earned 9 levels (which is low, since I should have gotten 9 floors +1 for the Item Boost gate). But some people claim you recover all your levels if you kill him *shrug*

I read somewhere that its minus three for bad then +2 if you kill him. Either way you still lose and if possible should start over if your lvl grinding

So what does a Magichange Weight do exactly?
"Max stats switched with Magichange weapon skills"
And do I equip the human with it, or the monster?

..And does it break after 1 use like other weights? I seem to remember them disappearing once they're used in a fight.

All weights break if the user dies while it is equipped.

Magichange Weight says "Max stats switched with Magichange weapon skills." This means, if you Magichange Desco onto a Star Skull who is wearing this weight, the Skull's INT and ATK will switch, since Desco's MCG skills all are based on ATK.

OH. Okay, that's amazing, xD

So uh... Would someone, no, COULD someone explain those statistician things for me? If that's even it?

From what I understand, they're innocents that are crucial to the game, but I've never found any before and I'd... kinda like to get in on the big secret now that I found I'll be spending a lot of time with Disgaea 4. So what are they? Where can I find them? What do they do?

Statisticians increase the % of experience a character gains by it's level.
They soft-cap at 300 per innocent, but different innocents stack.
So having 8 x lvl 300 Statisticians in one item will amount to +2400% EXP.

If you're double Magichange-big-banging, you'll want to have 2 items with 8x Statisticians for +4800%.
If you can wipe out the stage in 1 Big Bang, 3.

You can only find them by Reverse pirating, and are less common on floors under 100. Keep resetting till they appear.

You can either kill them, or take them on your boat to double their level, but with the new duping trick, that doesn't really matter.

For reference sake, there is a hard cap on experience bonus: you can boost your experience gain by a maximum of +4900% on any single enemy. This works out perfectly with dual MCG, 16 lvl 300 Statisticians, and the +100% EXP on MtO4, which was probably the intention.
