I had a feeling so...but when you said successful you were starting to lose me...

And for humor reasons, I want a senile character that's super strong...Reminds me a bit of the Dragon in Makai Kingdom...Ok, well, I guess it was done already, but still...nothing like a playable one though...

Maybe Hell really WILL freeze over? That could be cause for some interesting story. The current overlord is too busy dealing with political problems, so his/her daughter decides to go out and solve the problem herself, along with her childhood friend. And along the way, hijinks ensue as usual. And of course dramatic things happen. Maybe even end up having the main character kidnap Santa claus at some point?

Nice! I like this idea.Maybe instead of straight up saying Santa Claus they can imply that he is lol

I want to see other netherworlds and overlords be involved in the story and gameplay then you could have each netherworld be a different theme! How about a character who purpose is to kill these other overlords or it could be optional? If you beat the overlord you rule their netherworld but what benefits would the player hmmmm? (Havent played Makai Kingdom btw)

Problems with that would include the other Overlords having to be weirdly weak (despite being Overlords) and having to deal with ridiculously small Netherworlds or an insanely huge game, though.

Makai Kingdom worked there because direct confrontation with the various Overlords wasn't until the post-game, where they could properly show their stuff.

I'd like to see one where a human sent to the netherworld more-or-less understands how the netherworld works, (kinda like how one of us would) and proceeds to kill their way to the top. I know that thats seedle's story, but I want to watch one unfold with that delightful brand of humor Disgaea brings to the table

How about a demon wanting to learn what love is? Maybe not a overlord for main character but a loyal vassal.

Everything just seems so serious with all of your suggestions (I know Disgaea has comedy or course). Why should the goal be something serious or anything like that why can't the main character dick around and not be as serious? I know it sounds flawed (with modifications it could be better) but I think given the right elements and all of that other crap that makes us love Disgaea it could be great!

Well that Celestia based Idea dose sound good but yes a Female role should be leader in the next game (Avoids mobs of angry people) I know how much people hate that Idea of Females being leader and having a Human boy mixed up in that and the battle between Demons and Celestia that would be good to see but don't mind me I just want to see something new to be Disgaea 5 if they make one now
