I did that knowing there is a really good chance of being Nk'd, does it really look like I care about the outcome?

If I were taking things seriously, I would have kept my mouth shut and tried to start a wagon. I am honestly just curious what will happen this game with me claiming cop on Day 1, right before the deadline no less.

If I die, I die, no big issue there.
