I used to have way too many different backgrounds for my computer. And stuff happened when my computer tried to handle having so many different pictures (that's including the rather inordinate amount of family pictures/ events stored on it); messed it up for a while.
I think it's okay now, but I take this computer to work and places now; the blue screen looks more professional (?). For now, I see no point in what background I have. Perhaps when I have more free time I'll think of something~

Ah, yeah if you're using it at work, etc, then it's totally understandable and I'd do the same. I hardly ever see my background images anyway, just when I switch it on and off, which is usually only once a day.
