Disgaea 4 US DLC release date???

I'm gonna hold on off even on scenarios and maybe see if a bundle comes up at this point - or even if there's a GOTY edition. Adding up at 3 dollars a pop for characters alone, you almost have a full game right there once you get them all.

That's insane. Has any other game on PSN pulled that kind of crap for so little content? I mean, for crying out loud, half of these characters are important enough that there's no good reason they shouldn't be on the disc in the first place.

Just... ugh. This now after the long wait and STILL no full schedule is kind of the final straw. Not really mad at 'em, just disappointed.

I don't mind $3, what I mind is DLC characters can't be used right away and not at LV 1 instead already at LV 100.

Many mainstream games follow a similar DLC pattern in which the price adds up to at least the game's own price. It sucks but...what can ya do, ya know?

I hope Tales of Graces F doesn't go that far, else I'd be extremely limited in what DLC I'd be able to buy and many of those DLC costumes and extras look fantastic.

Yet it doesn't solve the problem in the long run . The simple of idea of spending money elsewhere has not made a impact on changing things within the industry .Sure a few companies went out of business because they lost their customer base however the concept of over charging for content keeps going .

The question I ask to you is who do we even spend our money on that won't rob us ,and provide us with the same product ?

The prices were expected though. Because the D4 DLC in Japan costed more then the D3 DLC so its expected that the D4 DLC will cost more in America. We actually are paying less then Japan for the DLC because 300 yen equals about 3.50-4.00

Sure, you could not buy, but that won't necessarily change a thing. If everyone stopped buying DLC, then maybe this type of thing would cut down, but as it is now, simply not buying DLC would do nothing. There will always be someone who will purchase DLC, regardless of price, and whether you like it or not, companies will continue to change marketing and money making strategies as technological advances change and evolve. Economic changes contribute to any fluctuations in prices as well. It is up to you however, to choose how it'll go for yourself in terms of spending.

That's because they've not been released yet in Europe, but remember that the game came out two months later, so the DLC will likely be similarly delayed.

It shouldn't be delayed. It should appear shortly after the US DLC to apologize for the poor treatment of us europeans. So i expect DLC to be out before the end of this year. Otherwise I'm loosing all my faith into NISA.

I hope so too. the later release date was already without any reason. I mean it was the same game as the US-Release. English only - no location/translation work for them. But a massive delay in release matter.
