What monster do you deem best?

Throughout the games there have been many monsters,but what is your favorite and why?
I do admit myself I am victim to favoritism towards these monsters,and I am a big fan of the Treant.
Why do like your favorite monster?

I like the Succubus and Flora Beast. I like how the Succubus attack and fly. They fly like I'm to lazy to hold my arms up.

INT types were nigh-useless in D1, heh. I did like the Succubi's drain skills better than the deprave stuff they have now, though.

Never did give monsters much of a chance since there're so many good humanoids to use. I guess that's the point of the magichange/fusion deal, but I just end up using that for free stored levels on my humanoid of choice. >_>

Oh yeah, I used a mothman for his flight property in the item world back in the day. Now they're not special anymore.

In D4 maybe the Dragons, but in the Disgaea series as a whole maybe the dragon or the (I don't remember the proper names for them it's been a while) fire demons from D3. If the Dragons never became swords in D4 then I probably wouldn't like them as much.

Honestly though, if you asked what monsters do I like, a better question would be what ones do I not like. I have more trouble using humanoids these days.

Dragons have been my staple since disgaea 1, but the only monster (or generic for that matter) that I like more are the Great Wyrms. The Great Wyrms actually managed to remain strong enough to use even though the monsters were pitiful compared to the humanoids.

I'm really liking the gargoyles. I've just started post game and their 100% boost at the base panel is still really effective.

Death, plain and simple.

Why? In Disgaea 3 they were essentially spellcasters that could one-shot enemies at low SP; now in Disgaea with how they ruin SP on enemies with any attacks now, you can turn even a whole party of enemies to do nothing but resort to normal attacks, forcing enemies to play your way. You can make it even worse with Mind Shackle to make enemies use twice their SP, which makes them lose it that much faster.

I've never really ever used monsters in Disgaea games besides the Nekomata. I always use at least one in every playthrough. They've got tons of movement, lots of speed, and a LOT of attack power

Succubus class, do to done right sexiness, then the flora class. Prinnies when they are guns were my favorites in three, now only Kurtis can be a gun and I'm so glad he is.

My favorite monster class was the Dragon. I've always been a fan of this monster ever since I first played Disgaea and it looks even more handsome in Hi-Res. Aside from the looks its skills suited my fighting style extremely well. With his Autocratic voice it really makes him remind me of Bowser a lot so I enjoy this monster in every aspect and detail in Disgaea 4.
