I probably should, shouldn't I?

Ugh, but I hate loud music. :?

I think you should at least try it once~ :)

Don't sit too near to the speakers and use ear plugs if necessary, if loud music bothers you.

Also, his songs are the most epic of win. 8-)

That does sound rather impressive; I suppose if I ever were to attend a concert, one such as that would take high priority.

I've only been to orchestra concerts...since I'm more of a classical/romantic period fan...

Oh wait, I've been to a Herman's Hermits concert as well as Squirrel Nut Zippers...what?

And if ANYONE here knows who either of those two bands were, no, I'm not super old...I'm just 26 and they were a sort of reunion performance (both at different times of course) and both happened to be performing in my area.

Oh, derp...I have been to a Panic! at the Disco concert...

Okay, so other than Herman's Hermits, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and P!atD, it's just been orchestras...Hopefully I'll get to go to the Distant World's Final Fantasy concert this year if they perform (and have Nobuo as a guest too) close enough to where I live...I'll be damned if I forgo that chance like I had to in the past years when I didn't have the money...

But all in all, I don't really listen to enough modern day music to warrant going to a concert...and even if I did, the [rock-like] concert isn't quite that big of a thing for me given how tight, loud, and how crazy people can get at those things...

But that's the best part! Get into a moshpit, become a human projectile, take some people down with you. Shove your way to the front of the crowd where its so packed its hard to breath and start bouncing around and headbanging with everyone else. Scream until your throat goes raw. That kind of thing.

Describing it, it sounds like the worst experience ever  . But really, its loads of fun.

But I don't have teen angst...I'm not even a teen...LOL...

Joking aside, I can understand the appeal, but at the same time, it's just not me. I'm more of one of those prim-and-proper kind of people when it comes to music appreciation. That, or I just want to dance, and I don't mean dancing like in the clubs hoochy-momma kind of deal...like actual dancing...

My husband loves concerts though...he's going to two not too long from now...one to see Ghost and one to see Graveyard...he also just went to a Rob Halford concert that also had Thin Lizzy and a few other bands that escape my mind at the moment...

Neither am I, I'm 28. I suppose its debatable whether I ever actually grew up or not...

Fair enough. I wasn't being completely serious before. Well, I was, but it is easy to see its not for everybody.

I'm 26...husband is 29...So yeah, it's not really an age thing, I know...LOL

But yeah, I'm extremely introverted and easy to bruise...My hubby likes to get up front (for the bands he really likes), but he's not really that into moshing or anything like that. He's seen a fair share of accidents and people doing stupid things that he finds it best to not get into that sort of thing...So that's why I sadly don't go to concerts with him...

I figured you were just joking (partially) with the whole getting into that sort of scene thing...

Was that one a good concert? (My friend wanted me to go to one for Disturbed sometime, but I don't like concerts much)

It really was, David Draiman really knows how to control a crowd. It was by far my favorite concert out of the few I've been to.
