'Out of touch' describes a lot of the game localizers nowadays... Not surprisingly, NISA is the company most in touch with its fans that I know of. Well, Sega has always made bad decisions on that kind of thing, so is anyone really surprised?

No one should be suprised. Along with Namco, Sega are the biggest jokes in the industry.

Personally, I'm wondering why they're porting Fire Emblem 3 and not Gaiden.

Also, I've pretty much given up on a lot of developers/publishers. They are indeed out of touch, and someone honestly needs to show them what's up before they go out of business.

My guess is they did it because the original Fire Emblem 3 also included the remake of the original Fire Emblem. Now, they have the chance to put both on the same system. My guess is that this is the DS's last Fire Emblem. Otherwise, if they thought they could do more, they would have ported them in order, instead of jumping around. Future remakes will likely be on the 3DS and beyond.

I'm dying for a new (real) Shining Force game. Maybe it's nostalgia but I want SFF localized more than any other game.

I hesitate to call SFF an SRPG, really. The simplicity level of the battles makes the game really easy; there's little-to-no strategy involved.

Which isn't to say it's a bad game, but anyone who wants to be challenged by a game (which is why I assume people pick up SRPGs) is going to be sorely disappointed by SFF.

The character interactions are really fun, though.

2 games they wont localize, enough said.

Phantasy Star Portable 2

They had this up since April 28th. Just saying. Pre-ordered it as they posted it up during that time.

Just saying, people need to be patient. SF: Feather is basically SF: EXA in the same concept art style. Just gotta give a bit of patience. SEGA has other projects releasing soon like Valkyria Chronicles 2 and Speedo Za Porcupine 4 and other SEGA related games. They'll probably be announced soon. Not all games get announced in E3.

If you can't substantiate your claims then they're just as good as bull. You say SEGA said this? Prove it. If you want to make yourself heard and actually be a reliable sorce of info, prove it to us.

No interview saying this was even mentioned during my scan of various sites... and I looked carefully at the ones that also cover news overseas for rpgs specifically. While I won't outright say there is no such thing, I just wasted an hour scanning all the articles with mention of Shining Force Feather, and I didn't see any such announcement... stealth, produce a link or stop asserting.

Not exactly. The best way to bother them is going to San Francisco. I used to live there for a year - and I actually went to their department and bothered them to death about Valkyria Chronicles being localized in US.
