Will Neptunia MK2 prem edition come to gamestop?

Hello, theres been rumors going around saying the prem edition of mk2 is ONLY forr the nis store and some people are saying that the prem will come to game stop, but the cards wont be as the cards are a nis only item...
However this game comes out in Feb, gamestop would never let something go for so long and not tell anyone? its to close to feb, which makes me think there not even going to get the game. I asked/called them today and there is no pre orders available. Can i get a confirmation from some one from the company to tell me that the prem will only be for the site. Or a confirmation (With proof) that it will only be on the site. Thank you

You'll have to wait and see if Gamestop carrying it, although it will definitely be lacking the cards as they are a NISA-store exclusive.
I'm also guessing from the comment on expensive shipping meaning you are in Canada or somesuch? As even if Gamestop does stock the premium edition, there's no guarantee they'll have any in their non-US stores, as they distribute the copies they get amongst stores themselves.

The first game came out in Feb. too but GameStop Pre-Orders did not start until the middle of January.

It will come to gamestop. They just take forever to place pre-orders cause I had the same question when Totori was supposed to come out I asked a week in the beginning of September and they had them for pre-order. So yes they will be there for pre-order my advice wait until February a week in and ask. They seem to not pay attention to JRPG games that come here. They will not include the deck of cards. That's only for the online purchase just like the first game and any NIS game that came out like Totori with the poster.

It'll likely be the same way it was with the first HDN. Premium edition will only be available to those who pre-order on time, with no extras in stock (and no playing cards 'cause that's NISA exclusive).

This isn't the type of game to have massive demand or anything of the sort, so even their supplies of regular editions will likely be limited and vary by store location...

Talking about Canadian GameStops in particular btw, though I'm sure it applies similarly to US ones.

Nobody seems to know for sure or can prove it. I think we should ask staff. I don't know if this is something that is accepted for the feedback section, anybody know for sure? I'd really like to know for sure, I've heard so many conflicting answers. I personally think it LIKELY that you CAN get premium editions anywhere provided you get the original first orders, but... it's still just an educated guess.

They put it on amazon because its an official product, but the sellers wont be official sellers from amazon, it'll probably be other people who buys the game and then sell it for higher price later

The reason why Iam here at this forum. Pretty much Iam sad gamestop didn't had the first limited edition game, I only got the regular release. I'll wait one more week before I decide to pre-order the limited edition.

You got it terribly wrong. Gamestop had NOTHING BUT the limited edition for the first wave of production. It was afterwards, if you failed to get the first print, that they became regular editions. I don't know how mk2 will be but I suspect it'll be the same.

I got an LE from GameStop long after the game's initial release (but before the second wave). Funny thing was, the guy told me it was the standard edition and that there WAS no LE. That was my second copy of the game which found it's way to eBay for some other lucky player to enjoy. I got my first copy direct from NISA, complete with pre-order bonus.

It's nice to see that NISA's version of MkII comes with the OST. HDN's Western release didn't.

Is MkII coming to GameStop at all? I still cannot pre-order from their website. I'd LOVE to get it straight from NISA, but I don't think I'm comfortable with my options for delivery (option 1: it arrives at my home when I'm at work, my mother opens it and shows it to my younger brothers and sister who then call me a pervert/pedophile for the rest of my life, or 2: I ship it directly to my job, and my boss opens it and shows it to my coworkers who then call me a pervert/pedophile for the rest of my life). I had a different job when HDN came out, at which I WAS the boss and my best friend there was also a game enthusiast/otaku (much moreso than myself, in fact), so I could do whatever the heck I wanted.

I asked if they could pre-order it at GameStop last month or in November and they couldn't, yet. But other games (SSX, Skyrim) were available for preorder for a year beforehand.

GameStop probably will start pre-orders closer to the release date since they will only get a small amount of pre-orders.
