It's because america is a stupid crybaby, stereotyping community that always needs strict rules because 90% of Americans in America act like crying 7 year olds, and can't understand crap.

I wouldn't say it's the entirety, it's just the vocal minority ruining stuff for everyone else, but same idea really.

Well I don't think it's not fair to just blame America for this whole online restriction . Europe also got the restriction thus they probably have people who cry like 7 year olds,and can't understand crap.

NISA is going to need to hire more than one person to monitor the US,and EU servers. I would think the mods would have enough work on their hands( even if they did add a report button in ) that they wouldn't have time to answer support emails. Plus why would NISA want the mods to work a CS job in the first place when it would cost them extra money? If NISA was willing to spend money freely they would have hired people to mod the maps already .

The beauty of it is that the players will moderate themselves, for free. You only need a barebones staff or existing support members to take up the scarce few appeals of the automatic system. Of course, NIS would have to implement this, but they won't since they have the resources not to, which totally hoses NISA who don't.

And in light of recent findings, I very eagerly anticipate NIS(A)'s actions towards customized item names online...

You realize by saying this you're dissolving yourself into a idiotic racist right? Just wanting to make sure. For the record, if you say "But I'm a American I can't be racist." or something stupid that doesn't matter at all. Black dudes can be racist to the same skin color, you aren't special you awful awful person.

The guy has a point, the storyline does use excessive cussing, characters already have random foul names, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense no matter how much you try to white knight it. I've attempted building nice maps before as well, and frankly it's impossible, the limitations are far to tight, they don't allow you any creative freedoms and it got frustrating. I think I've only touched the damn thing a grand total of what, 2-3 times? It's one of those "Why is this even here" situations due to how garbage it is.

Senators I don't care if they randomize the name sure whatever, he'll be gone in a few seconds, but pirates are, as he himself said, pretty bland when they can only have super generic names, It kind of removes the personal flair of them.

Before the game was released I was cautious as I thought "man, these changes sure don't make sense to me." but NISA white knights rose up and cried more then I could ever imagine, pretending the company can do no wrong, so I waited, and now months after release I've let it sink in and sorry, you're wrong, the changes killed it and it's no longer fun. It's boring. dull, lifeless and stifled. Sorry if you can't grasp it but it's true =/. The online part of this game is a resounding failure, thank god the rest was great though.

Clever or not it's still using the word in a aggressive way :v. Will give you credit though that's a creative way to look at it. Etna complaining about breast size, demons using sexual references, general swearing, characters getting plastered etc and we're seriously being censored because someone might name their warrior donglord? That's really goofy.

If you think it's only going to stop at donglord then you're wrong about that as it will go further. People will name their characters after private parts, derogatory names like the N word , racist names, and other crap that would offend people. Even if this is Disgaea's fan base we're talking about people will still be vile .

Also just because bad content is found in a game that doesn't mean a average gamer has the same rights to make content like that . We as gamers can still be held accountable for our actions even if it's mimicking some NPC or character from a video game.

In a MMO depending on how far you take it you can be banned /suspended for cussing even if there's a NPC standing right next to you calling people the B word or some other cuss word .
