Since the story is being done by newbies, it's sure to be something quite different. And it already has started as such.

Love the music, Nana Mizuki must be making a lot off of this show, or at least she will be. There's at least five songs in there that she obviously made for this series, and then you have the opening theme... sheesh.

Story is.. rather confusing, I'll just leave it at that. Fight scenes are great.

I'll be optimistic, and keep watching, but if it continues to confuse me after four episodes; yes I will only give it that long, I will likely drop it.

Still, it's... certainly interesting.

My God, this just blew me away. I wasn't expecting a whole lot from it other than some good music, but this show has some major style and great animation. And I don't really know what the hell happened at the end, but it was awesome and I can't wait until the next episode.

I'm very curious as to why we were shown a grave, '2 years back', and then it was present day, and that girl wasn't dead.

You're assuming that the scene at the beginning wasn't in the future. You're also assuming that she's actually dead and not just legally dead and in hiding. We really have no idea how this is going to play out.

Oh, and the title's. It's "Senki". Not Senhime. Senhime was an early translation error.

I have a hard time convincing people to give any show at least three episodes (two weeks) since a lot of series have a rough start in the first and sometimes second episodes. If you're willing to give it four, that's great. You honestly don't need to force yourself past that much if it's not enjoyable by then.

Decided to give this show a try, because the story sounds like a carbon copy of Twewy's and I like that game a lot.

Still waiting for subs of Ep1 though.

but, isn't the same girl that was crying at the grave, now happily spending time with that girl? If that grave scene is from the future of the 'current day', then this is going to be a horrible show for myself. Unless something changes somewhere somehow.

When you start with the death of the main character, you kinda give off a message. Some people like that sort of message, I hate it.

We'll just see where it goes.

You said we were shown a grave '2 years back', but the grave was in present, then it jumps two years back, and then back to "present day" which I am assuming is the same time frame as the grave scene. Perhaps... that operation scene was going on at the same time?

I have a feeling that scene has some deep importance to the plot, I mean she had her chest IMPALED by debris from a broken spear. There's no way they just miraculously did some surgery and patched her up good as new.

Sure, go ahead and kill off my favorite character (based on design, I mean dayum, a red head who wields a spear? Hell yes.) in the first episode. Unless she ends up being brought back somehow, I really won't care for this show anymore. I have a feeling Tsubasa will be the next to die. I don't care for either Mizuki or Hibiki. Why list Kanade as a MC if she's dead and gone by the first episode? I'll keep watching, but bleh.

I pretty much liked everything else, though. Also, image time: Kanade + Tsubasa and dat ass

...The official site says differently...Actually, it DOES state Senhime. Unless the official site is wrong?

In other news, the Official site continues to be hammered. I think this show is garnering a lot of attention
