Let's hope NISA discovered and fixed that crash.

It's a ridiculous glitch, it just stops you using a character pretty much, it should have been patched in Japan ages ago. Then Compile Heart don't tend to patch their games anyway.

Honestly, if the way dungeons were loaded in the first game is any hint of how they debug the game during development, I wouldn't be surprised if they're completely unable to find the bug at all... Didn't this bug happen because the game tries to use a texture before it manages to get loaded or something like that? That sounds like the kind of thing that only happens if you're using slow media (i.e. the BD the retail game runs on!).

This may also explain why for some people it doesn't trigger. Maybe their drive is fast enough (wearing and other mechanical differences can cause loading speed changes, not to mention the PS3 has a huge amount of revisions which may have different drives altogether). Maybe they first used something else that caused the texture to load before.

Well it's only one of her attacks. Her /\ Skill which costs 37 AP. And as it has been said you can avoid it by skipping animations or simply not using that skill. It is a good skill though.

Actually, stupid question: what happens if you use that skill first skipping the animation, then immediately use the skill again in the next combo without skipping? Does it still crash? Because at that point the texture should have been loaded if that's the bug... (unless they unload it immediately after the attack is done)

I use Uni, and I still use that skill. It really doesn't happen often.

It only happened to me, like, 4 times really. You can keep using Uni and that skill just fine.

Like Tikok said it's random, it has a chance to freeze the game. I'd say the chance is about 1/25-30. That's a pure guess from me though.

I hope NISA is reading this thread so they can test the game out and see if the bug occurs.

It's out of their scope because they don't have any programmers. The only bugs they can deal with are those that are the result of the localization process, nothing else.

I just wish they'd include the DLC Skills Pack right from the very beginning so we don't need to DL it...

A gamebreaking bug in a CH game that CH never bothered to fix?

What's another word for "completely unsurprising"?
