When it will rage crazily, will be when Tsubasa's there to see it.
I honestly don't see them getting along till that point. But, I could be wrong.
First off, spoiler-nested quotes = win.
She's just... such a half-assed protagonist. Which may be the intended portrayal, but I basically agree with Tsubasa hating her guts. I understand that she wants to be better, but, again, either the way they're scripting it or just my impression is that she's just not really trying. And that pisses me off, not enjoyable to watch.
To me, it would be more interesting if she goes berserk all the time, and then it becomes a Big Thing.
I'm not saying they need to get along, I just think they're beating you over the head with "Hibiki can't read social cues and Tsubasa is haunted by her past" and would appreciate if that were resolved sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, we get little bits and pieces of plot but mostly watch the Peter Parker routine of "somehow I have to balance everyday life with nocturnal alien-fighting!" I mean, it's great if you're enjoying those scenes, but I personally don't think they add much and could have been shortened to focus more on fleshing out the plot, which is my only remaining interest in this show.
I'm sure most of my problem is rooted in the fact that the series was shortened. Everything I'm interested in seems rushed, and everything I'm not interested in gets more extensive scenes than I'd have liked.
