That's because the JP PSN admins are smarter. Or they just like the Japanese PS1 owners more than the Western PSN admins like the Western PS1 owners.

Or getting hold of licenses is much easier there.
That's usually the primary barrier to them getting released.

I actually agree with Ring. Getting a license for a 10-years old game might not be that easy to begin with.

Companies get dissolved, merged and absorbed, and that makes tracking down who owns what a nightmare sometimes.

I think it's somewhat surprising to see Victor Ireland getting his old PS1 games to be released on the PSN, both dealing with license and his old companies' translation.

Good God, please. I'm still ticked that Japan has this and we don't.

I'm also ticked that Europe has Gex 2 and we don't. That was my favorite of the trilogy.

^Japan has all the games I listed there on PSN, as far I remember.

There's still a decent chance for the Square games to be released and probably Legend of Dragoon.

I'm not holding out hope for Suikoden 2 and Tales of Destiny though.

and it was also very hard to tell where you're supposed to go.

That's because in most of the scenarios, they don't bother telling you anything at all. It was one of my greatest issues with the game.

Anyway, I bought GrimGrimoire (I have the PS2 version of Odin Sphere already). I definitely have never played anything like it.

^ Yeah a lot of the time you just had to wander til an event happened to progress further. Which got a bit annoying after a while.

Nice to see Digital Devil Saga 1 and 2 getting a PSN release. I never played them before, so I'll likely buy them eventually now~
