Well, I will say that I find the 360 better than whatever Ninty's put out. I didn't willingly sell my 360 like I did my Wii (4 times). It was just getting to the RRoD.

Nintendo put out the DS. You're not honestly trying to tell me the 360 was better? Unless maybe you're a fan of shooters and shmups.

Otherwise my 3 favorites this gen in no order were ds, psp, and ps3.

I don't agree with a lot of stuff the big 3 do, but if their systems have enough games I want to play, I'm gonna buy them. And when Microsoft practically threw in the towel in Japan, well I decided my 360 wasn't worth holding onto anymore.

Blue Dragon, Kameo, Vesperia English, Fable 2/3, Operation Darkness looked interesting, and then you have tons of great JP-only 360 games, and there are some Shmups and I do love me my Shmups ~

DS = every game comes with its own set of disappointments. EVERY GAME. MAAAAYBE like one DS game didn't disappoint me. But, I couldn't name a single DS game that I found REALLY fun. And I just named a bunch of 360 gamed that I did.

Oddly (or is it?) enough, none of them were Shooters >.>

I'm glad you're not jumping down my throat xD

Many times when I say that, people get really angry and think that I'm insane or argue with me about it, trying to convince me that I enjoyed it or something.

It just wasn't for me. There are many reasons why, but I don't feel the need to go into that here.

But, while Microsoft is generally a pretty ugh company, the 360 was a system I enjoyed owning and didn't get tired of like I did the Wii and DS. Though, I do put the DS above the Wii. Considering I've bought and sold 4 wiis, it's not very hard to be considered better than the wii

This game I really want >_<

Anyone know if they expanded on the friendship system any?

Ok, well I honestly can't take ya seriously when you mention Fable 2 and 3 (especially 3) as good reasons to have a 360.

I'm guessing you're not big on rhythm games though? Cause Osu!Tatakae!Ouendan is definitely one of my favorite games on the DS, nay, of this gen, and while I'm not big on the music in EBA, the game itself is awesome. There's also other great stuff like Jump Ultimate Stars, the Rune Factory games, Love Plus, the Mario & Luigi rpgs, Twewy, Chrono Trigger, Radiant Historia, and Mario Kart.

But alas, this is no place for console warriors such as ourselves. Tales of Innocence R!

Don't care about Rune Factory, not a big fan of Shounen series (but the game was fun), Rune Factory has got a bad name because of Oceans, Love Plus has no appeal to me, Project Diva rocks more than Osu, but Osu was quite fun. Realize, I only stated that I could name 360 games off the top of my head, DS games...there were soooooo many I hated that it's hard to even dredge up the fun games. Didn't care for the Mario Luigi RPGs. Twewy was fun, but never could stay interested in it long enough when Shiki or Rythm weren't there. Chrono Trigger was a cash grab, and the original I had already played to death. Radiant Historia had a horrible localization. Mario Kart is not something I play on a DS.

Sorry if my tastes make me irrelevant to you. But, I am who I am. The DS was never for me. I tried it, and I learned only disappointment with it. The 3DS seems more intriguing, but that region lock is cruel.

EDIT
It's ironic that I forgot to mention Innocence, one of the VERY FEW DS games that I found really fun

If we're on the topic of DS games (even though its on a different tangent), has anyone else played Strange Journey or Devil Survivor?

@vampko: I don't know much about Innocence but I'm interested in it. Mind sharing your experience with it?

The battle system was really fun. It was fast-paced, and had the whole skill usage system that I love. And Iria's amazing to play as ~ The story was really interesting as far as I played it. The character interactions were great, and the voice acting was great. The music is what I consider to be the best soundtrack in a Tales game. The visuals were actually great for a DS game. None of this chibitized and deformed crap. Sure, it wasn't super polygon stuff, but it looked good on the DS. The dungeons were...difficult. Mainly because you'd be on one path, only to go to another path, and yet the two paths looked identical. So, it was quite easy to lose your way. Especially without the ability to have a map of the dungeons. I THINK you got some sort of mini-map, but it wasn't very useful when the dungeons were quite large.

I also liked how they had a friendship system. Which Tales games have been shoving to the side since Symphonia for some reason >_<

As such, the skits were great ~ I didn't tire of seeing the same one multiple times.

I don't know how much changed of the game for this re-imagining, but I'm hoping it's retained everything that made it so fun, while improving the visuals and dungeon designs.

[PSV] 03. Tales of Innocence R (Namco Bandai, 01.26.2012): 54,853 <-- NEW

While the number may seem small, it makes enough to show that one out of ten PS Vita owners got the game, and that by itself is a lot.

Indeed, they are moderate sales. People mentioned that Tales of the Abyss also sold a lot more on the first week, but look how many 3DS were already sold by then, the user base was much higher (more than double the PS Vita owners right now).

http://www.siliconera.com/2011/07/06/this-week-in-sales-namco-retell-the-tales-of-the-abyss/

Meaning, with 535k sold PS Vitas, Tales of Innocence R sold almost 55k; while with 1,1 million 3DS sold at the week of the launch, Tales of the Abyss sold 74k.
