and cancelled my pre order for Hyperdimension Neptunia MKII

So does anyone,Who wasn't very pleased with the first one,but strongly enjoys the second one, enlighten me on pre ordering this game?

I'm sorry but I can't take word from someone who deeply enjoyed the first one however. I have to hear this out of someone who didn't enjoy the first one but enjoys the second one. I want to hear it from them about the major improvements the game has over the first one and why shouldn't I have cancelled my pre order.

I've watched Youtube videos and I'm impressed on how much better it is but I'm STILL not quite convinced all the way. Also if I wait too long after MKII's release I may have lost my chance to get it since NIS can only print out so many copies.

So yeah please fill me in......

If you're not planning to buy the premium edition you could just wait until the reviews come out to decide if you want to pick up the normal edition .

Plus there will be more people who can express their opinion on HDN Mk2.

I don't enjoy the first game anymore.
A few months after release, I dreaded even touching ever since. In fact, I can truthfully say, that other than the characters, I hate everything about the first game.

Mk2 is a vast improvement, it has it's own glaring flaws; synth system is stupid and hit rate is bad early on, but even if you hated HDN you'll likely enjoy MkII. That's pretty much a fact.

As mizu said other than the characters and their dialogues the game was horrible, but i still had to play through it haha

I wouldn't go that far and call HDN horrible, sure it has it's flaws but it's a solid game. Mk2 fixes a lot of the problemes the first one had, but also added new stuff which isn't needed imo. Long story short Mk2 is the better game but only by a small amount.

If anyone's interested, as I like to review games for myself, I gave HDN 85% while I gave the JP version of Mk2 86%.

I think I'll just wait a little bit after the game's release to see what Metacritic has to say. If it score 70 or up then the chances of me picking it up will skyrocket.
