Some people feel Dragonball Z should have finished at Frieza saga, but many prefer Cell and Buu sagas as their favorites, which wouldn't have happened it if was cut short.

Bleach new/last arc is beginning what is already shaping up to be its best arc in the entire series.

I'm also glad Sailor Moon lasted as long as it did with all those interesting arcs.

If people think a manga has been going on 'too long', just ignore it and allow fans that want more to get MORE sagas/sequels.

I think we're talking more about fillers then how long the series is, it'd be stupid to say a manga should end just because its long =P
With bleach, it SHOULD HAVE ended with aizen, the whole story was based on aizens moves, to continue from that would be re writing the whole plotof the series.

For the record, I used to watch DBZ a lot when I was a kid, and I tell you, they actually stopped it at the Cell saga. As soon as the last episode of the Cell saga was aired, they would restart back from the beginning (yeah, they wouldn't even bother changing the schedule, but nobody cared). For quite a long time I never knew there was actually more past it, I literally thought Dragon Ball GT was what immediately followed it. So that's an entire chunk of DBZ I have absolutely no idea about.

Eh, there are some franchises where you can actually drag it on for so long since they don't rely that much on a specific story... but yeah, it usually does involve throwing away a good chunk of the stuff each time you start a new story, leaving just the core things. If you don't do that it does end up getting tiring pretty quickly.

Currently in Lowee at the moment, unlike the first game you can't choose which main area to visit first, noth that I mind because of how much better the story flows for it, plus it's much easier to travel the different areas which I'm grateful for since travelling from landmass to landmass became very tiresome in the first game.

I like the little nods and references to the first game as well. Even though it's only very loosely based on Neptunia.

Currently at the point where the Killachine has been unsealed by Linda, now I'm finding ingredients for Gust (Whom I have just met) to fix the Lowee Mascot characters disc.

Yeah, I still love playing the game. ;3
