It's probably a case of announcing many things early to generate buzz. Their marketing/strategy chief came from Square Enix, and while there may or may not be any correlation, you can certainly find parallels (I'm referring to 2005-2007 Square Enix, not pre-merger Square or post-RPG Square Enix/Eidos).

- titles announced early, usually during major events
- lots of sequels, remakes, and spin-offs.
- an increasing focus on RPG gameplay and console/handheld releases
- uncertain release schedules

Utawarerumono 2 and Tears to Tiara 2 could be a long way off. Nevertheless, they have that To Heart stuff to tide their fans over.

There are two PS3 titles for this game and there are also PSP ports for them both..

I hope it will be localized, either of those games would be great!
Have you heard of the Growlanser?

Yeah, that's been mentioned. Like 1 of those games being a Gaiden game and so on

Yeah I want the games to get an American release even if we only get the PS3 versions since those have a higher chance of selling.

Tears To Tiara Blu-ray Complete Collection. Since the chance of us getting the game has come and gone, does anyone know how the anime is? Is it worth a purchase, for the story or the quality of the animation?

I've played both the game and watched the anime, and I have to say, I think the anime has much better character designs than were originally used. On the whole, it also felt a little more serious, with fewer of the comedy scenes. I actually own the whole series on DVD, and if you like the series, I think it's worth a watch.

It pulls off being a sort of Western story done in Eastern animation style fairly well. If you enjoy anime and watch to see adventure shows that actually have plots instead of being brainless wish-fulfillment, it's worth it. ^^

That sounds very nice. I'll look into it, see if I can find it cheaper somewhere else. Thanks!

3rd Tears to Tiara game(2nd main game) finally makes it to PS3

The last time we heard anything about Tears to Tiara was when Aquaplus announced Aquapazza. Arawn and other characters from the tactical RPG are in the crossover fighting game.

Tears to Tiara II is in development and details about the game subtitled Descendants of the Supreme King will be revealed on April 25 in Famitsu. Tears to Tiara II will be released for PlayStation 3.

I fondly remember of the time where NISA didn't have a lot of deals in Japan, and Lyner was giving us hope that NISA might've worked on this game. Good times.

Honestly, I've given up hope of NISA ever fulfilling or being able to fulfill a game request. Well, there was Time and Eternity but that's an exception, not rule.

Oh hey, my first post in a while. I haven't felt like forum-trekking lately.
