They said it's a pre-order exclusive and that's the way it'll stay. Unless there happens to be an eventual public release of it in Japan or something so it filters down anyway. Although I wouldn't expect that until at least a year after its release date.

i think you missed the point i made earlier... EU people didnt even have a CHANCE to to get flonne even if they pre-ordered..

What's done is done there's no point in complaining about it.

No they didn't, but if they made it available to them now it wouldn't be exclusive DLC and you're now leaving Americans in the lurch.
You really can't win either way...

Not really US/EU are two different markets...

You've had your go and so should we... if the DLC was limited to Japan only then i wouldnt careless as thats where the game was made.

im sure if the role was reversed and you were getting boned on DLC's (im assuming your american) you wouldnt be acting like this there would be in uproar.

As for the bolded part... YOU ARE basically saying as long as you get the good stuff in the US screw everyone else other than the US..

But this is as the saying goes... its swings and roundabouts.. you got it we got boned.. we have the right to complain and moan even though nothing will happen about with this...

End of my partisipation in this convo....

I seem to recall an article saying what was keeping fallen angel flonne from a european release was a incensing issue involving koei who originally released the disgaea series in europe or something along those lines but I can't find the article anymore so I may be mistaken. It is a shame others haven't had the chance to enjoy using her as we in the United States of America have.I hope they do allow those of you who want her a way of obtaining her sometime soon.

It never said it was 'fair' that only the Americans get it, here in Europe we get passed over for many things, even entire games, so it's nothing new, but it's an incredibly minor thing compared to most instances.
Although they've said they tried, but things outside of their control prevented them from releasing it here, so not a lot anyone can do, or at least, nothing that us complaining about will help solve.

The DLC package will probably come in the form of an inevitable Vita release, which likely won't be localized because the North American market doesn't care about handhelds anymore.

Correction, they don't care about the PSP enough to warrant much in the way of physical releases.
I think you'll find digital titles are doing well on the PSP, and the DS is still going strong.

Apple and moblie phone gaming are on the rise so the market is there they just to tap into it.I honestly believe that the initial price of the vita+game+memory card/stick is the major obstacle preventing sales. The PSP was immensely popular in the US in the beginning but the awful game library just drove customers and potential customers away even though the PSP went on to have a fantastic library it was just too late most people had moved on to the nintendo handheld and the early phone games.

I got the lowest price one and the memory card and I am loving it. You can't play the PS3 games on it yet without a system update they are working on.

I can't hear you over the beeps of my pokemon game. Seriously I am still playing it, because it is good. The last game I played this long was Disgaea 2, the only reason I bought a PsP and I logged a ridiculous number of hours on it. I will not get a Vita because the Battery life is low, they doubled the damnable joysticks on the thing so of course every other game is going to FORCE you to use them like PsP did, your paying for a load of crap you don't need like a poor pixelated camera, and there are not going to be many good games on it. Did I mention it costs a ton?

I mean really, of course it's going to fail. There were so few games on the PsP worth their salt. Bringing over 3d adventure games to a handheld doesn't really work... The graphics will never been spot on and run quick it just tries to do too much. What they need is GAMEPLAY, and sadly games have been lacking that this past decade... badly lacking.

The battery life isn't bad considering the fact that for me it only takes 1-1.5 hours to charge a full battery. The joysticks actually feel good instead of hurting like the PSPs did. The camera is damn good from what I have used. I can't say the same about that damn 3ds. There is going to be good games on it in my opinion but what ever. Oh and again, pokemon? Really? You go from a damn good RPG with a great story to a stupid monster catching game that barely has a story?

The camera on every handheld sucks, but nobody should buy one for the camera. Battery life seems to get lower and lower as of late with every handheld (anybody remember the good old days of eight whole hours?).
The PSP has a great game library in my opinion, but the DS has a great one too, only theirs appeals to a greater number of people. And Pokemon? Don't dis Pokemon. It's got game mechanics that are surprisingly deep. Like really deep. It's also got a great metagame, and even their storylines have become surprisingly good lately. I mean, when the one of the main villains wants to become a god and recreate the world in his image, you really start to question if these games are really for children anymore.

I don't like the Pokemon series. It bores me a lot. I haven't checked out B and W but I have played most of the other games. I could name reasons why I don't like the series but I am feeling lazy because I just got up.
