Not since Koei owns Nobunaga's Ambition, meaning that part still gives them the ability to release it, plus...I'm pretty sure that Gamefreak/Nintendo can do more than one game at a time

you dont know that first part. Nintendo might have claimed the rights in the very begining.

Usually yet. But when both are on older platforms who knows

Because this is NoA we're talking about. You know, the same people who originally went "meh" about some popular Wii games... The fact that they acknowledged this, especially when it's been more popular with adults in Japan, and a game that's VERY Japanesey to boot (I mean, as if any of the Pokemon regions STAYED Japanese! For years I had no idea they were even based on real areas... I thought they were all made up!) Plus it's a collaboration (licensing issues), and just a game I saw NoA thinking wouldn't appeal to kids.

But, they proved me wrong and that's a good thing!

^ Well, it probably helps that the 3DS can play DS games. Unlike the Vita's (in)ability to play PSP games.

Yeah at least DS isn't completely dead... I mean, you look at the upcoming DS list to see the usual kid/movie games that come out for every system and that's it. Three Pokemon games this year though? Now that's a nice send-off for the DS! Heh, I remember when Mario Kart 7 came out, all the unhappy people I had to tell that it was for this new thing called the Three-Dee-Ess. They all thought it was for regular DS (or even Wii) because that's what most people still own.

This is also the same NOA that has localized the most rpgs at any time in there history this gen. And the very same people that are localizing 3 wii rpgs that in any other never would of come...........

the fact that theyve localized very japanesey games, and very adyult games..............

plus its a collaboration with 1 company who basicallty were licensed by nintendo to do this game, so its still theres..................

nintendo is about appealing to everyone, not just kids
